Are you in?

I like to make friends with different people. Usually people you met on the street are friendly, but of course you must first know yourself well, so that you understand people.
I really enjoy art. I love traditions. And, I like to make friends with people of different origins. I enjoy understanding civilization, aboriginal, and people of different statuses, different situations. When you regard yourself as an intellectual, you can easily communicate with different people. It is my experience that aged people are more willing to share and young people are more ready to learn and to act.


When I was a student, I learnt from books that there are skills of communication. How can you start a conversation? When should you listen? Should you react? What are the rules of proper relationship? Is it a wise way of rejecting someone? Is it nice to accept an offer? What is a generally appropriate way of building relationship?


Smile and say hello. Well, easy enough. But what's next? You must know different situations and different circumstances. Maybe, there are no rules. Take for example, you are a General and you are foreseeing the future. Right, are you in? You are the one to make decision. So, there are different responses to different historical moments. It is a matter of hierarchy. Your history, and your education and your background. You are showing people who you are. Be generous, genuine and gentle when you make friends, or play to be generous, genuine and gentle when you face all else. It is a jungle, you can be a prey.


Be critical, and logical when you comment. It is you who is making a comment. Do not comment when you do not understand.


There are always some truth in a group of three ＜三人行必有我師＞. Very humble and very enlightening. Think or forget. You can incorporate different culture, but there are always alternatives, you only know yourself, you know yourself, maybe. Take no action and forgive, it saves a lot. Sure enough, you know what you are thinking, you are just nobody or you want to be great. Or, be considerate? There are choices.


It is you who is thinking.


It is nice to think before you act.


So, when it comes to friendship, you can tell who is a friend, who you can relate, and who you can rely on. But it takes time to see people, be wise and be willing to make mistakes. Though there are no absolutely unacceptable situations, you can always avoid. Is it appropriate? Ask yourself.
